Raku One-day Workshop w/Karen Casteel + Susanna Kopchains
Saturday, November 14, 9:30am-3:30pm
Sunday, November 15, 9:30am-3:30pm
Come join us for a one-day raku firing workshop! Bring up to 4 vertically oriented bisque-fired pots no higher than 12". We will explain how to glaze your pottery using a variety of methods. Each piece will be fired, removed from the red hot kiln and placed into trash cans lined with newspaper creating a reduction atmosphere. You will go home the same day with your pieces complete.
Raku Clay is available for purchase if you are creating your pieces. Otherwise, any light colored clay with grog performs best.
For questions email Karen fullcirclestudios.co@gmail.com.
Intermediate Experience Suggested. Cost $150.
